Great news for young changemakers in Tharaka Nithi County — the Kathwana Youth Climate Action Fund (YCAF) is officially open, and we want YOU to apply! 🎉
This fund was proudly launched by the Deputy Governor of Tharaka Nithi County, following months of engagement and sensitization with youth across the county. Now it’s time to turn that energy into action.
YCAF is your chance to transform bold, innovative ideas into real climate solutions — projects that support climate change mitigation, adaptation, environmental conservation, and stronger, more resilient communities.
🌿 Who Can Apply?
Any youth-led or youth-serving group working with or led by young people aged 15–24 years in Tharaka Nithi County. Both formal and informal groups are welcome to apply!
💰 What Can You Get?
Successful applicants can receive grants of up to KES 500,000 to bring their climate action ideas to life.
