Hospital facilities in Tharaka Nithi are among the 68 health centres identified to benefit from the Kshs 1.1Billion support from Equity Group Foundation.

H.E Muthomi Njuki has received the first consignment of PPEs from Equity Group Chief Commercial Officer Mr Polycarp Igathe, who led a team from the Covid-19 Emergency Fund, that visited Chuka County Referral Hospital to deliver the good news.

Mr Igathe lauded our Health team for its preparedness as we currently have 488 COVID-19 isolation beds and operational oxygen plant.

We continue to urge all of us to adhere to guidelines by the Ministry of Health to avoid an upsurge of cases in Tharaka Nithi.
