Equipping ECDE teachers is imperative for effective Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) teaching, ensuring our youngest learners receive the best start to their educational journey.
In partnership with Child Fund, Child Rise, and Longhorn Publishers, the Department of Education and Vocational Training led by Chief Officer Jonathan Mwiti conducted phase two of a comprehensive training program for over 300 ECDE teachers from 149 schools in Chuka and Maara sub-counties.
This initiative included the official handover of course books and teachers’ guides further supporting our teachers and enhancing the quality of early childhood education.
