Spatial plans are developed and implemented to guide sustainable development, ensure that land and resources are used efficiently to support growth while preserving the environment.
Consultants from the University of Nairobi presented the Tharaka Nithi County Spatial Plan (CSP) to the County’s technical and administrative teams, alongside officials from the National Land Commission. The plan covers key areas such as strategic land use management, infrastructure improvements, environmental protection, housing development, and economic growth as we transform Tharaka Nithi into a future-ready County, promoting balanced development and prosperity.
