Requirements for Appointment
  1. Be a Kenyan citizen;
  2. Be a holder of at least a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya;
  3. A Master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration or Development Management from a recognized Institution will be an added advantage;
  4. Working experience of not less than six (6) years;
  5. Have qualifications and knowledge in administration or management; and
  6. Must be computer literate

Duties and Responsibilities

The Sub-County Administrator shall be responsible to the respective Chief Officer for:-

  1. Coordinating the management and supervision of the general administrative functions;
  2. Developing policies and plans;
  3. Ensuring effective service delivery;
  4. Coordinating developmental activities to empower the community;
  5. Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of public services;
  6. Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services;
  7. Exercising any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board.
