The leadership of Tharaka Nithi County had the privilege of hosting the cabinet secretary for Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs Prof. Margaret Kobia.

Together with, Chuka Igambang’ombe MP Patrick Munene and the county’s women rep Beatrice Nkatha, we oversaw a series of activities being funded by the National Government in the county including the opening of a Huduma Centre in Chuka town where the County Government has set up a stand.

Relevant county ministries to come up with a framework that will enable youth, men and women to access money, offered by the county, in the form of loans to enable them advance their livelihoods. This is in line with our goal of value addition.

Those keen on value addition from products in our County will be given priority.

Preference too will be accorded those who will pay their debts timely, when given.

We thank the National Government, through CS Prof. Margaret Kobia for coming down to the County in an effort to help us uplift the lives of our people.
