In pursuit of improving emergency response, open governance, citizen engagement and public participation, the County Government of Tharaka Nithi, through the department of ICT, has established a Toll free Contact Centre.
The Contact Centre will handle emergency and disaster response, AI services, health services, business rates and permits, and any other general enquiries. Callers will call the short code 1513, toll free, and talk to the call center agents, 24/7.
This makes reaching Tharaka Nithi County Government a zero-cost experience for its citizenry. Other free channels to reach the agents will be direct messages on both Facebook and Twitter, as well as chatting on the live web-chat platform on the County’s website.
